Evaseva monster t-shirt As most of you know, I just returned from an Austin visit with my little sister.  I got to meet my new nephew (who is sooo cute) and see my other nephew and niece (also both very cute).   It seemed very ironic that while I was there I would discover Evaseva, a unique creator of fun and funky children’s clothes.

After spending a week with my four year old niece, it became apparent that she is perfect for Eva’s monster t-shirt.  We frequently heard her issuing commands to  my ten year old little boy.  He happily followed orders because his biggest desire is to have a little sister.  As the artist behind this t-shirt says, “This lovely heart can also be a real monster too! Especially when she wants something.”  This about sums up my niece.  The bright pink color and heart applique would appeal to the girl in her while the monster motif is a reminder that there is “a little monster” in even the sweetest of little girls.

The talented artist behind Evaseva is a mother of three who resides in the Netherlands.  She mixes new fabrics with vintage fabrics to create her whimsical works of art.  Not only does she make beautiful dresses and t-shirts for children, but she also fashions adorable stuffed animals, playpen/car organizers, postcards and bibs.  Checkout this Big Nose Monster Bag she created out of new fabrics and a vintage Scandinavian table cloth- very unique and fun.  Big Nose Monster bag by EvasevaYou have to checkout her shop to see all her delightful creations.  Their bright colors and fanciful designs are sure to put a smile on your face!
